INTEL Cuts Electronic Cords with Wireless

SAN FRANCISCO (AFP) - Intel on Thursday showed off a wireless electric power system that analysts say could revolutionize modern life by freeing devices from transformers and wall outlets.

Intel chief technology officer Justin Rattner demonstrated a Wireless Energy Resonant Link as he spoke at the California firm’s annual developers forum in San Francisco.

Electricity was sent wirelessly to a lamp on stage, lighting a 60 watt bulb that uses more power than a typical laptop computer.

Most importantly, the electricity was transmitted without zapping anything or anyone that got between the sending and receiving units.

"The trick with wireless power is not can you do it; it’s can you do it safely and efficiently," Intel researcher Josh Smith said in an online video explaining the breakthrough.

"It turns out the human body is not affected by magnetic fields; it is affected by elective fields. So what we are doing is transmitting energy using the magnetic field not the electric field."

Examples of potential applications include airports, offices or other buildings that could be rigged to supply power to laptops, mobile telephones or other devices toted into them.

The technology could also be built into plugged in computer components, such as monitors, to enable them to broadcast power to devices left on desks or carried into rooms, according to Smith.

"Initially it eliminates chargers and eventually it eliminates batteries all together," analyst Rob Enderle of Enderle Group said of Intel’s wireless power system.

"That is potentially a world changing event. This is the closest we’ve had to something being commercially available in this class."

Blog.. OMG.
I just started using blog, just last year and didnt quite really like the idea of making such things, like writing things from your own personal life and posting them for all to see - I mean, dairies are supposed to be personal, not public. But still I made posts on my first blog (now deleted!), but it only reached to 4 posts and all of it are none-sense..
But just November Last year, I was quite liking the idea of owning a blog, you know, just for fun and for a change. So, I started to make my blog and then just by how many days, I got a comment, whee.. So, I really liked that I have readers, so, I went on posting.
But, I really didnt expect that this will be required in our school, in the subject "Presentation Skills", but I really liked the idea of having a blog instead of making a photo story. But the thing that I didnt like is that we have to make a new blog at blogsome, eventhough I am really comfortable at blogger, but instructions are instructions.
My Blogsome Blog is entitled Jopalogy: The Study of Jopal and can be found at this URL, http://jopal.blogsome.com. At lease I am the first Jopal in blogsome, not like here, which I had to put an 's' at the end.

SSG Outing

Yeah right, Im the only legislative officer that is also an ITE officer who had a title of the SSG Executive Board Staff, i didnt really even know why I dragged myself into this. I started being in the SSG Executive Board work, i think it was during the nutrition month. But prior to that, I was a no body in the field of work in the student body, I just joined a leadership summit of the SSG: my main reason? Laptop. The SSG needs my laptop for the leadership presentations, so I went there, knowing no one, but the ITE Officers. After that summit, it was back to the real world and then, the SSG called for a meeting about the nutrition month, so, being a good sport, I went there... That meeting changed my student body work, after that meeting, that's the beginning when I made the SSG Office my "Tambayan" in the annex campus. It was Arbie who pulled me into working in the SSG Executive board, back when the legis and exec had a meeting together, she was the one who made me stay there and listen to the exec's meeting, and she made me her co-internal vp.. ahahaha..

Anyways, ill go back to the outing. I was the only Legislative who was with the Executive during the Intramural-Evaluation and Outing of the SSG. Actually, it was more on 5/6 outing and fun & 1/6 work. It was really fun, during the night swimming, we played "anak-anakay" and talked about work in the jacussi side of the pool. Then, sleeping time, me and arbie were the last person to sleep, because of Prison Break, then she slept first, I turned off all my gadgets and slept beside her, on the floor (feeling clean). Most of us slept for only 3 hours then we ate and had an hour to discuss the evaluation then morning swimming, we just practiced diving and summer saults... (Kanang Hambugera dira, ahahaha, you may know who you are, magpatudlo og dive mas maau pa sa amoa, magsummersault, mas limpyo magexecute).

Anyways, it was really fun. Now, there are 2 things on my mind, 1 is: ITE President or SSG External VP???
the other is hhhmmmm...

Whoo.. Prelims are done and Midterms just started. Though, Midterms already started, some teachers didnt yet show our grades. But then, again, last Tuesday, almost all my subject grades was shown to us.

I was quite satisfied with my Minor subject grades. but it was the Major subjects that gave me quite a fight. Both of my Major subjects are being handled by one person/teacher, Mr Exander Barrios (Complete name jud!).

My Minor subjects grade was just between 85-96. But my major subject grades were 83 and 88. I mean, I didnt even make it to a 90. Last semester was quite different from now though, I got a 97 and 95 during prelims in my major subjects. *Grr..*

But what do you know? My 83 is Programming paid off, and I was 3rd in the Prelim TopNotchers in Programming. *Whee*..

Upcoming 'Heroes' Season 3

As reported before, Tim King revealed that Heroes volume 3 will focus on the bad guys and will show how they get together and rise up to destroy the earth, just like what the good guys did to save the world in the first season. In line with this, fans can expect, many villains to surface when the NBC science fiction series returns for a new season.

During the recent Jules Verne Festival, show creator Tim Kring and Jeph Loeb presented some footage, which is part of the upcoming new episodes of Heroes. The footage kicks off by summing up the tail end of volume 2, where Nathan Petrelli (Adrian Pasdar) gets shot, Noah Bennet (Jack Coleman) leaves his family to go back to work for Bob (Stephen Tobolowsky) and The Company, and Sylar (Zachary Quinto) gets his powers back.

Based on the footage, Elle (Kristen Bell) has an encounter with Sylar and she tells him that she's not scared of him, to which Sylar asserts that she should be since he's a psychopathic killer. Elle, on the other hand, retorts that it "takes one to know one."

Also in store for Heroes season 3 are the changes that lie ahead for Angela Petrelli (Christine Rose), who has moved into a powerful role at The Company. It has also been revealed that Level Five, one of The Company's prison areas where the most dangerous and powerful killers are detained, gets breached.

There's also a scene in which most of the major Heroes are all dead. Described by Noah Bennet like “12 Sylars running free,” the shots shows Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) as a corpse in a pool of blood, Hiro (Masi Oka) has been pinned to the wall with his own sword, lifeless and Matt Parkman (Greg Grunberg) has his throat torn open.

As for Niki, she won't be coming back given that another alter ego will take over Ali Larter's character, and it won't be Jessica. Hiro's sworn nemesis, Adam (David Anders), is also expected to return for Heroes season 3, which will most likely come back in the fall.

Kyle XY is an American drama television series filmed in the Vancouver, British Columbia area. The show centers around a boy named Kyle (Matt Dallas), who wakes up in the forest outside of Seattle, Washington with no memory of his life up until that point. The series follows Kyle as he tries to understand the mysteries of who he is or why he has no memory of being a child. He is sometimes shown with his shirt partially off and no belly button can be seen.

The show premiered June 26, 2006 on the ABC Family network. Episodes were also broadcast on ABC the first season, but only for part of the second season, after which it could only be seen on ABC Family.

Supernatural Series

Good day!

During this Christmas break, I’ve got nothing to do and just watch some of my DVD’s. My mother bought me several DVD’s while I was with her joining her to buy some of her koreanovelas, I ran across some Detective Conan DVD’s and told my mom to buy me some of those, and I had asked the person-incharge of the DVD’s if they had the Supernatural series, since I kind of like to watch it. Since prior to me buying the DVD, I watched maybe 2 episodes and kind of liked those episodes, it was about hunting down a ghost-killer and the other one was the season 1 finale, but I didnt know it yet. So, this Christmas break, I got a chance to watch the series, and I got hooked.

Looking at it, the series might look like having a devilish feel, but they quite explained all of the symbolism they have used, they hunt down demons not become one of them. In fact, the main plot of both the season 1 and season 2 was killing the demon Azazel who killed the Winchester brothers Mom. Dean Winchester and Sam Winchester are the main cast of the series, the series began with the demon killing their mom then, after 22 years their Dad had trained them to become hunters, and when the series started, their dad was closing in to the demon that killed their mom, so their dad is no-where-to-be-found, but he is watching his son’s progress.

Another story is that Sam Winchester is a Psychic and the demon wanted him to be his soldier, but I’m not going to spoil the fun here, Sam can see the future, he has premonitions but he can still learn to have more powers like persuasion, demon control, mind control, telekinesis and such. What I really liked about the series, is they have created a very good story line and plot. I mean, they are entertaining, as well, as you can learn mythology and ghost stories; They even used the Bloody Mary curse as the second episode, and made sure that the pentagram (the symbol thought to be as satanist) is not really pure satan, they used it to be a Devil’s trap, meaning they can trap any demon inside the pentagram, thus the series logo.

“Non timebo mala” as my post title says, it means “I fear no evil“, encrypted on the shows main weapon to ward of the demon Azazel, not ward but to Kill. The main villian was pretty good, he can not be bothered by Holy water and was pretty smart, he knows if he is entering a devil’s trap, so, only the Colt (a revolver made by Samuel Colt, a demon hunter and gun maker) can kill the demon, it was made to have only 13 bullets and must be used carefully and can kill anything. They keep on talking about eternal damnation and hell as being not a very good place, even for a demon; giving it a nice message about not going to hell, and they even believe in God and Angels, as they gave an entire episode to this kinds of things.

Heroes the Series...

Oh, I really really really love this series. I'm not really that person that follows series so close, that I really need to watch them after they had just been released. I usually wait for all of the episodes and watch it all at once. But this series really got the best of me, the plot is so cool and they have powers too, which makes it cooler.

It's really addictive, watching this series. The powers they have are really cool, and the plot is really not close to those with the same genre (i.e. X-men and Mutant X). They do have powers like those of X-men, but still the plot is not the same, nor it is close. Their villain in the first episode is a serial killer of people like them, so he can have their powers, and on the season two, the villain is most likely still him and a eternal being (he has the power of regeneration, which he regenerates his cells, and be able to live for 400 years *OMG*).

Most likely, the heroes have the same powers as that of X-men, except no one of them has the power to shoot laser beam from their eyes. They have the person with the power of Katie Pride which is DL, with the power of Phasing; the power of Wolverine to Adam Monroe and Claire; the power of rogue to Peter; even the power of flight given to Nathan. They have the same powers but have a more in depth to what is happening now plot. With even elections and cheating on elections, as what Micah and Candice did.

Watch this series. Its really good.

ITE Sophomores WebComic

Out of boredom, and of pictures. I created something, uniquely, ITE, Bisaya and Fun. Last saturday, we had our tree planting activity and we went to our school, between 7:30 and 8:00 in the morning, since, what was said to us is we would be leaving at 8:00am sharp. As we got there, the first bus was to leave, and then, followed by the second and third buses. But, we werent there in the first batch of buses. We were in the 3rd batch, so we left from school, at around 10am. grrr...

Anyway, while waiting, all of us were sitting by the pole and were talking, until we proposed on taking pictures, and there we were, PICTURE TAKING TIME... and because of that picture, I created one piece, that I really liked... I only applied simple filters and some light brushes and downloaded Comic Fonts, and voila! a Webcomic will be at large, coming soon..

I may create a new blog, just for this... Ciao.. btw, its really in deep visayan language.. hope all can relate...

UIC Intramurals Reflection

First site of Intramurals, All I hear is "Dapat machampion ang IT karon", And what's in my mind is Ill do my best so that I can help ITE, since I am now an Officer of the ITE Program. So oh well..

It was not until during a meeting of the Legislative Board and Executive Board that changed my Intramural life. Arbie (SSG-Internal VP) picked me as a partner for the Screening committee and will also help her in her endeavors during the Intramurals, so I voluntarily agreed; on the other hand Raphael (SSG-External VP) also picked me as his partner for the Ways and Means committee. *Whoo* Two SSG VP's wants me to be a part of them *Flattered*. So, with the three of us fighting for a partner, we agreed that all 3 of us will be a part of both committees.

Being part of the Screening committee really gave me a head ache. Imagine looking at all the Medical Certificates of all 10 programs of the school and counting all of them. But then, Arbie gave a boost up saying that it will be the only tiring work of the Screening committee. Ways and Means really didnt gave me quite a problem, we had only to find some Companies that will be our sponsors for some events of the Intramurals.

Being part of the Working Committee gives some great privileges, Free Food and Drinks during the Intramurals, Free T-Shirt Printing (a good design too) and Exemption during the attendance checking. Disadvantages are also there including NO CHEERING for your Program *grrr*. Oh well...

Afterwards, the Intramurals was started and ended good and fine. Eng'g still won which garnered them their 11th year as champion, ITE came in second. These two program was fighting really good, Eng'g won by just 2 gold medals. Rhea (2007) stated that "Dawat-dawat nalang".

UIC Intramurals 2007 garnered me really fun times, and gave me so many Friends. In the future, I will have CPA Topnotcher friends, Media friends and even some Eng'g friends. Hope so.. Good luck sa inyo..

Whoo.. Hello there, Im back, finally..

After how many months, I stopped posting on my blog because of some few reasons:

I was really down when I found out my PR in blogflux was in 0, originally it was 3, then 0, then 3 again.. good thing.. I was really getting worried..
I just got bored on blogging..
I wasnt really expecting of a blog that would really be fun filled..
I was just too tired to open my blogger account, and just opened blogs of other people

The I got back to blogging because of some reasons again:

Cleaned Up My PC

I don't know what got into me these days. Having a very very very slow PC is such a bummer, plus if the booting of the PC will reach to 5-8 minutes, who wouldn't get so bummed?

So, just this week. I only backed up around 1gb of files, and deleted all the other files. I saved only program source codes, video source files and pictures, all the other files like videos, musics and programs are left to be formatted (as of now, I still think there is some important things I haven't backed up. sigh.)

Now, my PC is running fast, now its really clean. I still need to install programs, and still looking for my installer CD's, and I can't find them *looks deeper*

Oh well.. Still having 1.8k+ for 3dMark 2001..

Kind of clean, I dont really like dark colors, the theme is from Crystal Clear: Crystal XP. And that dock isnt stardock, its rocketdock, I like it better and its much cooler.

Just another Summer day. And im not doing anything, rather than eating, surfing the net, sleeping, eating some more, downloading movies using torrent, watching the movies downloaded using VLC, blogging my days while there is still no class, playing Pirate king and not gaining level, and researching American history (American History is more fascinating than Philippine History, they're using guns instead of bolo's). Have you watched the movie Pirates of the Silicon Valley? or the PBS documentary, Triumph of the Nerds? I really recommend IT-based people to watch this, or just those ordinary people to watch these movie and documentary.

These movie and docu states how the modern computers began. The film chronicles the rise of the personal computer/home computer beginning in the 1970s with the Altair 8800, Apple II and VisiCalc. It continues through the IBM PC and Apple Macintosh revolution through the 1980s and the mid 1990s at the beginning of the Dot-com boom. It includes interviews with Apple Computer's Steve Jobs and Microsoft's Bill Gates.

Pirates of the Silicon Valley, just revolves on the Apple-Microsoft conflict, and a little bit of how Apple got the Xerox GUI and a little bit of Altair 8800. While the Triumph of the Nerds shows all the need-to-know facts about what really happened during those days when PC's where just a box with blinking lights, mouse were only pests and Apple was only a fruit.

It tells you that if Xerox weren't so keen to give everything to MAC. We should've had Xerox OSX Leopard or Xerox Vista or Xerox Certified Network Associate. Xerox should have ruled the Computer Age, now Xerox is just merely a copier machine company.

No more small talk, watch these movie and documentary now. There are Torrent downloads of these at Demonoid. The Pirates of the Silicon Valley Movie is around 700mb, while each of the 3 parts of the documentary are around 500-700mb. Worth the wait and the space..

Wierd Case Mods

Im back updating my blog. Since maybe its the reason why my PR gave up from 3 to 0. My bad.

Anyway, this summer was a very interesting one, because our subject is hardware and software installation, and I was really interested in the hardware stuff. Since I really have no background on those things, I just know that keyboard and mouse are input devices and monitors show the things happening inside the PC.

With the subject I got to go deeper inside my system unit, and realized something I haven't realized before: Im using a NVIDIA GeForce4 4400 AGP video card! wow, and I realized that today's model is a 8800. 4400 != 8800, thats why my video and graphics are lagging so much? what a coincidence. LOL.

Anyway, the insight of this post is the wierd case modz that I found in the internet. Im not the one who researched on this, OK? Im going to put where I got it, so I wont be a plagiarist, LOL.

A very funny case mod actually, its a stuffed beaver and a computer all in one. Its even in higher specs than my computer with a generic system case. WTF? Anyway, the owner of this is really quite a hunter and a taxidermist, and he really had a hard time on making this. Why not make the eye of the beaver glow when the PC is turned on?

Miss Kanna

At first look its like whoa, and then like whoa which finally made to whoa. Anyway, its a really nice case mod, with nice case moddy thingy. Anyway, its still better than my generic tower, 5 years in service - my tower pc, with a mobo without a PCI-E.

I was entirely shocked when my Mom called my cellphone at morning around 6:30 am. I thought it was just an errand that she was going to give me. But as I answered my cellphone, I heard a very sad voice from my mom, "Jopal, Wala na gud si Boris". *Time Stopped*

[Time Runs Backward]
Boris is the name of our pug. It was with us around 5 years now. I still remembered when we first brought him from his former home, My brother's shirt was really full of his urine, and Boris was just as big as my hand. Then as time goes on, we loved him so much.

He would even eat chocolate and imported pa ha. When we go to parties we would even ask for Letchon, and not only the bones of the roast pig, because Boris cant eat it all. He wont eat when he knows that we give it to him everyday, so letchon for monday, fish for tuesday etc. which means we wont give the same food each day. Surprisingly, he would even eat durian, eats the meat and leaves the seed, and he eats not only 1 but 2 or more.
[Time Continues]

He is now in doggy heaven. I wasnt even there when he was buried. He's burial was witnessed by Mom, Dad, our Working Student and *as told by my mom* our japanese spitz. I would surely miss him. We only now have 1 picture of him, and we are looking for more of his pictures.

We miss him.

Summer Class Blues..

Just when the second semester has just ended and Easter has then passed from our calendar then starts the Summer Class of UIC. Its the first summer in which I wont have a summer job and wont gain extra money. Summer Class sucks, so I seem and think.

My Summer Class starts at exactly 7:30am in the morning with a laboratory class of our Hardware and Software Installation, then with the lecture of the same subject and probably with the same teacher. Then at afternoon we will end at 3:00.

As you may see. I have edited this blog to a new design, well the template is still intact, I just changed the header and footer then changed the color scheme and added a background sound. This might as well have a new name, since I kind of stopped my liking in my old blog and I wont tell why.

Fun Programming

*Whew* Programming. Such a subject, I dont know why its quite hard.

For the past Programming 2 Laboratory Exercises, during the midterm term, We kind of got all the programs that our teacher wants to give us.

But, its midterm, anything can happen. We had Characters and Strings as our main topic, so it was not really quite hard, since we only have to manipulate strings. But, our next topic will be pointers, and the were said to be the "Hardest Part of C++ to Learn".

So, lets cross our fingers and hope for the best. I really want to know my Prelim Grade, but our teacher wont give it to us.. *Grr*, oh well.

All right. This post is just about the iMAG logo, not the iMAG itself. OK?
Now, this logo was made just for fun, for just making a post here at my blog regarding the iMAG magazine. This logo was just a time waster for me, since I don't know what I would really do.

But this "accidental" logo for iMAG, kind of pleased my eyes. I liked the way it came out and made a larger resolution version of it. Hope if the magazine would be really named iMAG, they would use this "logo-name" thingy.

Alright, its not officially iMAG yet, but there will be an official ITE student publication that will be coming out at UIC.

The name iMAG is not yet official. We are still trying to pick out 1 out of 4 names for the magazine. One of the four is iMAG, and I quite like that name. The other 3 are kind of nice, thinking that we suggested 20 names and crushed out the others.

Im quite happy and proud that Im a part of this student publication, knowing that Im the only first year to join the magazine staff and all the others are higher years. Even the meeting of this said magazine was quite fun, having to suggest names and objectives. But we still have to make the magazines Mission, Vision and CBL, which is quite hard. Still, I like being part of this.

Thats about it for iMAG. Ill post the other details on this on some other time.

New Year, OMG!

2007 again.
Another year, Another Life, Another Somethings...

I would like to greet everyone a Happy New year and Still a Merry Christmas. Its the year 2007 and we cant go back to the previous year, a year full of memories and challenges, but still this new one boasts another year that is full of somethings. And as far as I know, my blog is now a month old *whee*, it was started in December 1 and now its one month old, cool.

Anyway, back to reality. Tomorrow will be another day at school, I dont know why they do this to us. We only had 2 weeks of rests or so to say. Since my major is Theology, our teacher in the said subject gave as a project to work on, and it was quite long and hard to make since not all of us classmates see each other during the holidays. The project is almost done, but still one classmate of mine didnt give her share, oh well, we will just see what will happen.

While we are doing a project for our major - Theology, my friends from the other section are also making their projects for a major, only it is not Theology, its Presentation Skills. I dont know why they are having quite a time in their project, I mean Photo Story? Its quite easy, its as easy as Movie Maker. Oh Well Again..

Hmm.. Since its New Year, then I should make a resolution. or not.

A great day for most UIC students but not for us, 1st years in the IT course. Know why? Lets just say that, its was the moment of truth - such dark times indeed. It was our periodical exam in Programming 2, and it was a no assignment, no exam Examination, and the assignment was quite hard.
But still, most of us got it. So, on with our study and memorization.. Then the time came, it was 5:00 in the afternoon and it lasted for two hours. The examination was quite easy but increadibly hard (hard to get??).
And "ang hatol ng maestro" *Drum Rolls* 16 passed.. out of maybe 90? I was one of the passers, (yey Me!)

Same with December 23. except that I went to church to practice our church play.

Church day. It was another church day but now is quite special, because it was almost Christmas.. And we had to have our play and we acted twice, for the children and the adult. That sunday, we had two services - our regular church meeting and the christmas eve church service.

December 25, 2006
Christmas Day. Full of Eating and Enjoyment. and also a sad day, for it was the last time I was able to see one of my close friend in church, for he was going to the States.

December 26 - 29, 2006
Rest Day. But I was able to be online in 28 and 29.. At 28, I didnt post because I was quite busy making our bussiness' website found here FaithWorkz. Now I am here, posting this post, sitting here at Basti's Brew Coffee Station and drinking Ice tea.. Oh well..

NoseBleed!!

Whoo.. Look at the time, Im suppose to sleep because tommorow is exam day. But, heck, we have only one exam tommorow and it is Computer Programming 2, the one the makes our nose bleed. Ok, enough for the introduction. Let us now figure out why I made a post on the topic NoseBleed!

This week we, not only me, had continuing nosebleed after each period. Know why? Beacuse its exam week. And not only that, its our preliminary exam, which means it is this exam that we must get a high grade so we will have "sureness" in our grades in the next upcoming midterm and finals. Just this afternoon, one of greatest nosebleed that happened was during Presentation Skills Exam, and I got 76% *Claps* at least I passed, I think not half of the class passed.

Tommorow will be the most nosebleediest nosebleed of all time. Programming, and guess what? No assignment, No exam and our assignment costs us blood from our nose.. Ahahaha..

Presenting the Open Lab Programming Team of 2006. Hahaha.

I forgot to make a post yesterday since I was quite busy in Church, because of our upcoming Christmas play which I act as a Father who tells the story of Christmas to my Children. Anyway..

The "Programming Team" picture was taken last saturday at the Open Lab at the University of the Immaculate Conception. I was at UIC last saturday upto 7 in the evening, doing nothing but Programming. As I posted in the previous posts, Found Here!. No one got the answer to the question correctly, so, I dont know what our teacher has in mind, he gave to us the exam as an assignment 'slash' quiz.

So, since no one got it correctly and our mind just melted in the Exam. I need to ask help from higher years, namely Kuya Roy, picture found below. And guess what? We got it.. Yay for me and Kuya Roy (Spelling??)

Fun-Filled ROTC Saturday

Saturday.. Hmm..

When I was in high-school, I used to love this day, since it was the day when I wake up at approximately 11:20 am or sometimes 8:00 am when Power Rangers Wild Force was still on, but when it ended thats when I started wakine up at 11. Then wait for my classmates text about where we will be going out, sometimes we will go to any internet cafe and play DoTA or go to the houses of my classmates without even informing them.

But good times always has an end. Now that I am in college, Saturdays always means ROTC, yes, you heard it right. Their is still ROTC excisting and we took the temptation and went for ROTC. Whole day activity, Boring Lectures, Pretty New Officers and Strict Old Officers. But, this saturday is different, we get to have fun with the officers, instead of giving us punishments, we shared stories and laughs, we even got pictures from them. Hahahaha. Fun Saturday ROTC.

This picture is taken just this afternoon. One picture is with Sharon, an officer that is in charge with the band. Two pictures is with Maggie, Delmo's crush, which is an officer of the Alpha Platoon of the Girls.

Just this evening, I have made my Presentation Skills quiz 'slash' assignment. I just made it now, because our Microsoft Office was kind of buggy and we had to reinstall it, so we re-installed it just this 10:45 pm. So, my clock started at 11:00 pm and must end about 11:45 pm, so that I can send my assignment, 'just in the nick of time'..

So, I already typed my texts yesterday, so my work is not that loaded. Only thing to make is the tables and the layout. I just cropped the pictures and the table below the texts because I was running out of time, and my time will end if I will continue.

*Whoo* In the nick of time, I finished at exactly 11:47 'UIC GuardHouse time' and 11:57 'UIC ITE Associate Dean's office time. Ahahaha.. Take that.. I uploaded it directly and jumped for Joy..

*Jumps Very High and shouts (but not so loud since it already 11 pm)*

Examination Problem..

Wee.. Ill post our examination problem, since all 4 sections under Mr. Ex in Programming 2 had done their examination. And guess what? No one got it correctly. Karlo, almost got it, just some minor problems awaits him.

Write a program that eradicates duplicate integers. The first line is the number of integers to be input, the next lines are the numbers that was input. In the example, 7 is the size of the array and 1, 2, 3, 2, 8, 7 and 1 are the elements of the program.
The output must be "#x - ", where x is the number of the array. Then it will print the numbers eradicating the duplicates. Then the duplicates is shown below.

Thursday, what exciting things that usually happens within this day? Hmm.. Nothing.
Thursday is the day that we have a boring math class, very hot filipino class, reporting-full psychology class, hard programming class and a fast-paced presentation skills class*.

*Fast-paced - which I mean is that it only takes us 30 mins to finish the class, instead of 1 hour.

Thursday. Nice day. Lecture Day. Meaningless Day. Boring Post. Just read my next post.

History is about to Repeat Itself

Harry Potter's summer vacation is ended abruptly when Dobby, a house elf, suddenly appears in his bedroom at the dreadful Dursleys, warning him of great danger and that "history is about to repeat itself."

Now, doesnt it seem peculiar why I quoted this paragraph from the Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets novel by J.K. Rowling.? I will tell you all about it.

Legends says that many years ago, One teacher that goes by the name of Sir Barrios had given bloody marks to students, some historians says, he still does upto now. And shows no mercy when giving those bloody marks, normally he says that its entirely normal. Now, years ago, this teacher did the unthinkable - he gave bloody marks to all the students in his class. We dont know if its real, but some says that the legend is true and it was proven by the man himself, and shown to us the marks - blood marks.

Legends says that this can happen again. Will it happen or not?

Most of the people of the section D, say so. Due to the test that was given to us, it was pure torture, our brain was working but our intellect wasn't. Most of my classmates didnt quite understand the problem, but some of us did. Most of us had shorter programs which only had includes, couts and cins. Oh well..

Hope the legend will not be repeated, because history might be repeating itself..

First Picture. Hmm. What can I say? This is me with my blockmate Jeannette Gail Pilapil. When I say block mate, that means we are classmates in all section, figure it out why.

The next picture is me, with ate Lourds. Quote the word "ate", little knows that this little girl, about the size of a highschooler is 18 years old. Believe it or not.

That girl, Jane, in the picture is my classmate since Elementary Grade 2. The link is broken because she shifted into a new course.

No comment. Just my friends, Jenver, Joanne, Rissa, nothing to do. We waited for Mr. Barrios's class in Presentation skills and we had nothing to do but to take pictures.

A teacher of the Section D in programming 2, bursted into a sermon due to a conflict between the 2 party. Their teacher, which we will hide in the name Mr. X, bursted into a sermon that took about a quarter of an hour.

Story said, that Mr. X, wont allow any of his students to enter the classroom without their assigned assignments in their hands. Due to this policy, only a quarter of the class had entered. But most of three people from this one-fourth of the class had let someone from other schools make their assignment, which they directly said yes.

Due to this, Mr. X, felt insulted because he teached us the basics of array and functions with his best and the 3 persons only let someone make theyre assignment. Oh, well.. Good thing it was presentation skills that was the next subject because the environment again changed and the sermon became laughter..

UIC Explosion..

University of the Immaculate Conception (UIC), at Davao City, Philippines, was awaken with a blackout on their territory. This blackout was caused, as said, by a transformer failure. Students who saw the short-circuiting were terrified and shouted, some just kept calm and even one class continued their quiz eventhough it was that class who witnessed the sparks from the transformer.

Students piled up at the School's entrance gate, since the exit gate is where the post was located which contained the failed transformer. Teachers can no longer have their classes since many students directly went home or play computer games after the said event.

Students wished and waited to have no classes tommorow, because of this power failure. The UIC.EDU.PH website was offline for a while and just now, it returned to haunt us all. I think power is back at the University which probablly means, classes are resumed. Sorry for those who wished, there is always a next time.

Presentation Skills Class..!!

Im here at UIC's ITRZ, Lab 203. Im having my Presentation Skills Class, with Mr. Exander Barrios as my Professor. We are having a Lecture even though its our lab class, but still, Its OK. I liked the way when Sir Barrios teaches us Presentation Skills.

The Presentation Skills environment is really not like the Programming 2 environment, even though we have the same teacher from both subjects.

*Ahh* Macromedia Flash!! For our presentation skills. I think, Mr. Barrios would really make things hard for my classmates.. Anyway.

Swift 3D... ~Hardness~

*Wooh* - *Huff* *Puff* - *Phew*

Ahh.. First time using Swift 3d. Guess what? That was very hard.
Just when the software opened, it took me several trials just to create a simple circle, after pressing several buttons and inputting several numbers and characters, I finally created a sphere.. *Woot* My First 3d creation on Swift.

Anyway, that was nothing. I was suppose to create something, I dont know what, but my mind was settling on what I would make in Swift 3d, something n00bish. I thought of an Ice cream cone and I made one. It was not quite good, just 3 spheres on top of a cone. *Erased - created a new one*

Then, Since being a pastor's kid, I thought of the Cross. The cross of calvary. Then I started to make it. Just one cross, it took me about 10 minutes (First Time), then on the next 2 crossed just 2-3 minutes. Then the plane where it settled, then the colors, which was pretty easy to make.

My Final Presentation: *Tada* - Dont Laugh. Thats my first serious creation on Swift 3d.

*Laugh* Thats it.. Its not quite good, but Im practicing. Maybe Im going to participate in the LiteRock Technographix next year, if Ever.. *Laugh*

Church Day.. 2nd sunday in Advent..

Whew.. Its again sunday, which probably means that tommorow is Monday and its time for class again. *Waaaahh*

Anyway, this sunday. The church celebrates the 2nd day in Advent - Peace. I dont know if this kind of celebration is also taken up by Catholics, but Its still celebrating the birth of our Lord. So, Hey, Lets celebrate..

So, thats it for the Church Thingy. Now's the fun part. ~Randomness~

This lunch time I was the one who cooked the rice and guess what, the Rice didnt come up too well. Its was not yet cooked thus we cant eat it. So, we bought Rice from Jollibee. Funny but true.

Now, Im going to end this post because we are going to GS to buy some gifts and then practice for the play our church..

Im done with my program. Yehey Me..
Take that, well, it was kind of easy actually. Inputting the number of quizzes and their items. Then getting the equivalent of each then the average of all the quizzes.

Simple One-dimensional array and functions that doenst have parameters are all that I had used. Contains less than a hundred lines of codes but takes up many brain cells to think about.

Still, Im happy that I am now finished. Now, its off to help my other classmates.

Im just going to put random items in this post since I going to concentrate on my Assignment on the Programming 2 class headed by our beloved Mr. Exander T. Barrios.

[*] I already posted on the things all about the Supreme Destiny game and It is the only game that is installed in our PC. ONLY GAME, and I also wished that Warcraft will also be installed, but NO, it can destroy you.. Oh Well..

[*] Im quite proud now with my blog. My old one, now deleted (formerly it was Matthew's World), was really quite ugly and I dont like its layout and thus I only had 4 posts on that blog. Now, I make posts like twice per day. *Well, its an online diary and I suppose I have to put something in it*

[*] After almost 2 weeks of waiting our assignment for the Programming 2 is now posted. *Laugh*, and Im going to work on it after I finish this post of mine. Functions.. Arrays.. (Good thing its just one-dimensional array). Hope I can make it fast enough to sleep this night. I would like to thank our teacher for teaching us much about this programming language *Nods and smiles*..

[*] I dont know whether we had an ROTC class this day, I think we have one but my other mind keeps thinking that we dont. I have never been absent in a ROTC class and even if I do it still feels like I dont take that class. Military polices are very good workers of the ROTC, they sit down, chat, eat and wait until the class is done. I hope we dont have an ROTC class, since its Immaculate Day yesterday. *Crosses Fingers*

Supreme Destiny..

Supreme Destiny... A game created by E-games, the same game creator that intoduced RAN Online, O2 Jam and other more hit games.

Supreme Destiny is a 3d game that introduces 4 new classes but with the same powers just as the other RPG's has to Offer. Supreme Destiny lets you pick whether you would like to be a Transknight (Swordsman), Foema (Mage), Beastmaster (New Class!!!) and Huntress (Hunter)..

Anyways.. That the introduction..
Here is my story...

I have been watching some of my classmates and friends play RAN Online for such a time now and I too thought that I will also play that game. While trying to seatch the e-games website for the Full Client of RAN Online - it was a whooping 500 MB installer. I wont download it, and if I would, I would return to my noobish self since I dont know how to play the game. Oh well...

Thats the time when I saw the Supreme Destiny advertisement, and they are still in beta. If this were to be popular then my character will then be useful.. *Evil Laugh*.. Anyways, I created an account and got to be level 15 in less than an hour, thanks to their x2 format..

Thats it for now..

Im just encouraging everyone to play Supreme Destiny and have fun.

Early Morning Friday

As a mentioned in my previous post, this friday we were supposed to go school at exactly 5:00-5:50 am. Me and my friends had a talk if we will go or not, our plan was to go. *Early Morning*

I alarmed my cellphone at exactly 4:30 am, it woke me up but I got up from bed almost 5:00 am. I directly got to my daily routine, only now, faster. Then I had a thought whether I could get a taxi going to the school. Luckily, one taxi got my attention, It was just infront of me *Laugh*.

While I was going to school, I saw many taxi's and jeepney's that has UICians in them. Taxi's piled up at the UIC entrance and students also piled up as time went by. Me and my friends gathered in one spot and talked until the procession started.

Now, what happens when you wake up early in the Morning, you dont eat breakfast and you walk 1 kilometer? *Collapse* But, luckily, I saw only one who collapsed, Thank God!

We walked from the School to the San Pedro Cathedral. As we arrived outside the cathedral, we started to sit at the park since our feet are killing us. Then we went inside the cathedral to find a seat and guess what? we found no seat for us. Oh well, we'll just sit outside. But not for long, we went to Taps to eat breakfast, good thing really, since I was really starving.

Then we waited if there was another attendance for us. We waited and nothing happened, there was no attendance. *Oh Well*..

After that, we went to the annex campus just to drink water and off to Jimbers, where we played computer games for 5 hours. *Oh the beauty of 10 per hour*

Thats it. Nothing more, nothing less.

No Class Tomorrow..! Announcement Controversy..

What a ring it made to my mind, when I heard the announcement saying "There will be no class on Friday".. I was really happy for that announcement (and who wouldnt be?). I began to really like the fact that I am in a Catholic school, because of its many holiday seasons...

But there is one thing that really made us feel down. The announcement sounded like this, "On Friday, all students must be at the school campus at 5:00-5:50 am", (AM..!! MORNING.!! THAT EARLY..!!) those were the words that came from our mouths and mind. I mean, 7:00 am was too early for us and theyll make it 5:00 am, I mean, should we really go? I am not a catholic and also some of my friends.

Then below that announcement, was a sentence that says "None-Catholics are still required to go", can they read our minds? *Slaps Myself* Of course not. But maybe would could NOT go, I mean, maybe if most of us will not go, then its OK.

The announcement then had a last and final word. -OSAD.. OSAD? The Student Affairs? Who could resist that office, I mean, MR. GIVE-ME-YOUR-ID-NO-QUESTIONS-ASKED is in that office. Oh well, maybe, most of us will sleep eary tonight. Or sleep at the mass...

Who knows? Only time could tell...

Why the Blog name?

That question has been bugging my Yahoo Messenger! for such a while now. Since its at YM! that I advertise my blog. Then almost those people who viewed my blog had questions on why I picked that name: "The Moonlight Shines Upon..."

The answer to that question will be answered below:
"The Moonlight Shines Upon...", is the short summarized version of Luna Moonfang's, a character of DOTA, sayings: "The Moonlight Shines upon the Guilty and the Innocent Alike", which can be read below my blog.

Luna Moonfang was the first character that I used in Defense of the Ancients (DOTA) game. Then I like what she says, hence: The name of my Blog..

Hello there,

Im back and Im still here..

Monday, usual mondays. I get up from bed early since my class starts at 7:30 am, and that class is no ordinary class, its one of our major subjects: Presentation Skills. Though presentation skills is pretty easy, some of my classmates dont even know some tools in the Microsoft Environment. Well, thats why they took up IT, aint it?

Carrying on, the thing that I really liked this day is during our Computer Programming 2 class. Our teacher, Mr. Exander, teaches us the basics of the One Dimensional Array then after which gave us a hands-on quiz. He gave us a timeframe of 1 hour and 15 minutes (such time...).

After which, I finished the program in less than the given time. And furthermore, I was the only one who finished the program. *Evil Laugh*, but still, it was still a duty of mine to help those in need. *Phew*, Monday's done. Bring it on Tuesday.!

Such a word, a very small eight letter word.

If you know the show Boiling points, you will directly know what I mean. Never could one person think that he/she could win a hundred bucks just by being patient..

Well, as for my case, I, too, won myself something. I held on to my Smart Amazing Phone 1, for almost 2 years now. It still works but its kind of defective, like, when I answer a call, it turns off automatically.. Or when everytime I turn on my cellphone it sends an instant message to one of my classmate..

Carrying on... I finally have a new cellphone, a N70, one of my dream cellphone.. Now, its finally mine.. *Evil Laugh*

Welcome to my Blogsite, well I once had a blog but I didnt quite like it, so I made a new one.
